Winemaker Notes

Villa Leone, a winery started in 1907, is on its fifth generation of family winemaking.

This Valpolicella Classico is 50% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 20% Corvinone and 10% other authorized grapes. The Leone is well balanced, nicely structured, and quite intense with fresh acid and moderate tannins. Traditional flavors of black currant, blackberry, plum, cherry, oak, and spice with a touch of raspberry.
