Two Hands 2017 Bella's Garden Shiraz

$ 76.99

Winemaker Notes

Deep, dark red with a black core. Bright purple hue around the meniscus. Bright aromas of blueberries, blackberry and black cherry. Floral aromas of acacia flowers weave through the wine. Notes of game, pepper and nougat add depth and complexity. Full bodied but very buoyant. Bright flavors are lifted and accented by notes of fresh blue and blackberry with hints of plum. Creamy complexity through the palate adds depth and interesting texture. Palate has great depth and a coating nature but doesn’t feel heavy. Tannins start mid-palate and leave a lovely rolling chewy nature. Spicy through the finish with vanilla and sweet baking spices. Classic Barossa notes of coal dust weave through the late palate which is both long and complex.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2017 Shiraz Bella's Garden is a real gem and well worth seeking out for readers who love high-class Barossa Shiraz. Deep purple-hued with a kaleidoscope-like array of red and black fruits, ground pepper, spice, herbes de Provence, and cured meats, this beauty hits the palate with no hard edges, remarkable purity of fruit, and a great finish. It’s impossible to resist today, and I see no need to delay gratification." -95pts, Jeb Dunnuck
