Quina Do Vesuvio 2019 Comboio Do Vesuvio
Vesuvio is one of Portugal's oldest and most revered Port houses, with historical records indicating that the site was producing notable wines as far back as 1565. The label pays homage to the railway station on the main line Douro railroad at Quinta do Vesúvio since 1887. Comboio do Vesuvio is the estate's unoaked red blend with bright aromas of red fruits (strawberry) and rock rose (a wildflower much associated with the Douro). Rich plum with notes of fresh herbs and hints of clove on the palate. Fine acidity and peppery tannins add freshness to this balanced, well-structured wine.
