Domain Du Prince Costieres de Nimes Blanc - A classic Rhone varietal blend of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne from the town of de Nimes. Aromas showing Ample notes of tangerine, crushed rocks, flowers and crisp white peach soar from the glass of this layered, medium-bodied, classy and lengthy white that has both freshness and richness.
Hugues Beaulieu Picpoul de Pinet - Picpoul is one of our favorite summertime refreshers, with zippy flavors that remind us of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio combined together. Pale yellow color with green tints. Fresh and fine aromas of grapefruit and exotic fruit. Lime flavors, with typical focusing acidity, are hallmarks of Picpoul. An incredible value, this wine impresses novices and hardened geeks equally. Known as the Muscadet of the South in France, this is to the Mediterranean coast of France what Albariño is to northwest Spain.
Mont Gravet Cotes de Gascogne Blanc - Mont Gravet white, which is made from the Colombard grape, comes from vineyards located in the Gascony region, near the city of Toulouse in the South West of France. Mont Gravet has a pale, bright yellow color, with a very intense and refreshing nose. It displays flavors of citrus fruit and blackcurrant leaf.
Avaleda Vinho Verde - You'll find Avaleda's Casal Garcia Vinho Verde that they make from fruit purchased from grower around the Vinho Verde region and produce an ocean of practically everywhere. Few people realize that you can get their much better, more complex and made from estate grown fruit "Avaleda" bottling for basically the same price. A blend of Loureiro, Trajadura & Arinto, it is light and crisp with nice citrus and floral notes. With a touch of spritz , this pairs perfectly with seafood, a cheese plate, or to enjoy while grilling food for your friends and family on a warm sunny day.
Terra de Touros Arinto - Arinto, an indigenous Portuguese grape variety, is commonly used in Portuguese blends to add a lively zing of acidity. The Terra de Touros Arinto is downright mouthwatering. On the nose, it is explosively fragrant with aromas of honeycomb, pink grapefruit, and jasmine. On the palate, it is extremely fresh and bright, yet soft and creamy - showing flavors of white peach, yuzu, and lime.
Collina San Ponzio Roero Arneis - If you don’t know Arneis, then this is the perfect introduction to the white grape of Barolo and the sandier vineyards of the Roero hills next door. And if you do know Arneis and are used to paying $20-$25 for a good one, then Collina San Ponzio Roero Arneis may be a bigger revelation still! Because Barolo producer Collina San Ponzio has done something even Arneis benchmark Vietti can’t manage – create a deliciously authentic and high-quality Arneis that sells for under $20. This is lovely stuff, showing Arneis’s richness of texture and body with a vivid, refreshing, zest. You’ll smell and taste crisp pear, tangy peach and late-harvest yellow apple fruit with captivating accents of fresh, ripe, lemon pulp, sliced almonds, sweet spice and just a hint of something floral.
