Deep straw in color. Notes of lemon curd and green apple coupled with freshly baked pie crust waft from the glass, complemented by citrus aromas with hints of white peach and floral notes. Light toasty flavors with lime, and melon. Medium-bodied, the wine carries well through the mid-palate with a long juicy finish.
The grapes were whole cluster pressed using a very gentle “Champagne” press program. Every thirty days each barrel was bâtonnage (stirred) to develop mouthfeel and richness. Our Estate Chardonnay went through 100% secondary malolactic fermentation. Exquisitely balanced, this Chardonnay is true to its varietal roots with a hint of the signature “Laetitia Spice”.
