Our Great Value Mixed Cases are back!
This latest, Spring 2021 Edition is a fun blend of classic varietals and regions plus a couple off the beaten path grapes & regions that we think you'll enjoy exploring.

The mixed case includes 2 bottles each wine:
Pampas Grass Pinot Noir (Argentina) - This yummy Pinot from Patagonia smells of strawberry, violet, and bright berry. The flavors follow suit with strawberry candy, raspberry, and red cherry. Soft acidity and light tannins make this wine an easier drinker that can be enjoyed at any time.

Dona Paula Smoked Red (Argentina) - Don't worry, the "smoked" part refers to the barrels not the grapes, so no, they're not trying some clever marketing to get you to buy a batch of grapes that were tainted by smoke from wildfires like they've had in Australia and California in recent years. The "smoked" name comes from the unique smoking process that Dona Paula uses on the barrels which gives the wines aged in them aromas and flavors similar to traditional Argentinean barbecue (asado). And we must say the results are equally unique and delicious.  Aromas of dense black fruit, coffee, and vanilla bean and the meaty texture and flavor profile are balanced by a fine acidity level and satiny, slightly smoked tannins. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec, and 10% Bonarda.

Storypoint Cabernet Sauvignon (California) - Storypoint Cabernet Sauvignon opens with expressive notes of dark fruit and fragrant baking spices. This red wine embodies the best aromatic, character and textural elements California wine regions have to offer. Our robust Cabernet Sauvignon reveals rich layers of blackberry, dark cherry, mint, sage and black tea and finishes with unique oak signatures of cocoa, molasses and gingerbread.

Argento Cabernet Franc (Argentina) - Cabernet Franc has been coming on strong in South America lately, largely because of ones like the Argento where the style is fresh, the nose pure, the textures supple on entry. The fruit is an effusive mix of blue and red fruits flecked with savory dried herbs. Juicy and soft, the texture and length are amazing for the price. Serve with roasted chicken, quail, pork or mature hard cheeses.

Pontbriand Vaucluse Cotes du Rhone (France) - This fabulous, summer friendly red is from the southern Franch region of Vaucluse and is a blend of 40% Grenache, 40% Caladoc, Syrah 10%, Marselan 10%. Crafted from the estate’s thirty-five years old vines, they are traditionally vinified to produce a wine which is immediate in its impact: Sumptuous fruit abounds from start to finish, from heady aromas, tinged with violets, to the flavors engraved with a plump generosity, lasting all the way to a smooth and savory finish.

San Lorenzo "Sirio" Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (Italy) - The latest vintage of a Taylor's staple is here and is absolutely fantastic, maybe better that last year's.

Crafted by the San Lorenzo family utilizing classic techniques, native yeasts and bottled unoaked to emphasize the true nature of the grape and region. This wine is a real crowd-pleaser showing aromas and flavors of fresh black fruit and distinct savory herbs and spices will pair well with our favorite pizza or red sauce pasta.
