Caligore Torrontes (Mendoza, Argenaina) - Most of us think of red wine (usually Malbec) when we think of Mendoza but they are making huge progress in the production of their white wine and Torrontes is one of the uniquely Argentinian varietals that they are working with and the results are amazing. It has become known as Argentina’s signature white grape variety and it is unique, complex, extremely food friendly and best of all... very affordable!
Quite unique stylistically and very aromatic with a nose of jasmine, apricot and honeysuckle followed by a dry palate with passion fruit, honeyed lemon and orchard fruits, this is a wine that can stand up to so many different foods.
Toscolo Vernaccia di San Gimignano (Tuscany, Italy) – Neil and Maria Empson founded the project in 1988 to express their love of the region, leveraging the talented winemaker and friend, Franco Bernabei to create the wines they imagined. "Toscolo" means Tuscan boy. Bright white lilies, ripe lemon, asian pear, bright minerals. The sleek and fruity palate is loaded with ripe lemons and pear. 100% Vernaccia di San Gimignano from the Chianti region of Tuscany.
Green & Social Organic Verdejo (Rueda, Spain) – When you see Bodega Cuatro Rayas’ ‘Green & Social’ seal, it means that this organic Spanish wine was created with a commitment to protect and respect the environment and the people who live in it. Their bottles are made of lightweight recycled glass to reduce emissions, the aluminum capsules are free of plastics and 100% recyclable, plus, profits are being donated to rural families in the Rueda area. And once you’re finished with this Verdejo, an indigenous Spanish grape that this winery is so famous for, you can feel good not just about the delicious wine you drank, but the winery’s high standards that went into making your now empty bottle. offers a straw yellow color with bright green hues and exhibits fresh, citrus fruit and balsamic aromas that are typical of the Verdejo variety. Its simplicity and purity find a dynamic and seductive path between fresh flavors, finesse, and minerality.
Tarima Mediterraneo Blanco (Alicante, Spain) – An alluring white wine characterized by its youthful exuberance and lightness. As one brings it closer to the nose, a bouquet of fresh white floral notes unfurls, accompanied by an assortment of stone fruits such as peach and apricot. Upon tasting, it reveals an expressive and harmonious profile, marked by its vivacity and a delicately fruity nuance. This wine represents an impeccable selection for those in pursuit of pristine flavors and a forthright manifestation of the Mediterranean essence.
Castillo Perelada "Blanc Pescador" (Spain) – Perelada has been producing wines since the fourteenth century. The castle and its estates has been owned by the Mateu family since 1923. Its founder Miguel Mateu passed away in 1972 and left his son-in-law Arturo Suque at the helm. Today Perelada is producing world class cava and superb still wines from its magnificent vineyards in Emporda and Priorat, Spain.
Think of this wine as a more complex Vinho Verde, a refreshing white wine with a hint is spritz. Blended from 60% Macabeo, 20% Xarello, 20% Parellada and comes from Girona, near Barcelona. These are the traditional grapes used to produce Cava, but in this case are bottled at very low pressure and with only 11.5 alcohol, notes of ripe key lime green apple and apricot.
Campuget "Tradition" Rose (Costieres de Nimes, France) – Elegant notes of cut stone, smoke, and cherry blossoms perfume the nose of this peachy, pale pink rosé. Silken on the palate, it offers delicate flavors of white peach and pink grapefruit lifted by stony minerality before finishing with lemony acidity.
