Grochau Cellars 2021 “Convivial” Red

Grochau strives to make wines that are balanced, textured and expressive of place, inspired by the diversity of the Willamette Valley’s soils and microclimates. They’ve sourced fruit from organic and sustainably-farmed vineyards throughout the valley for this bottling, and have succeeded wildly.  The nose is a fruit medley of strawberries, cranberries, blueberries and blackberries, with a hint of spicy leather and white pepper. On the palate it is round and juicy, with crunchy black cherry flavors and an acidity that lingers on ripe tannins.
