Matt Fern, culinary extraordinaire :) Many of you know Matt as a hospitality guru in Raleigh, having been beverage director for AC Restaurant Group, partner in Poole's Diner, or head of the food and beverages at Longleaf Hotel and Lounge. Matt's the proud owner of his dream come true, (ish) Delicatessen. His warm demeanor and crazy culinary creativity make him one of a kind. We have yet to curate this menu, but it will definitely be awesome! This will be a serve yourself cocktail style afternoon, so come casual, thirsty, and happy!
In 1640, the Henriot family settled in Champagne and began acquiring land to plant vines. Apolline Henriot founded Maison Henriot in 1808, and it has been independent and family-owned for more than two centuries. To shed light on her lands in Montagne de Reims, she created the first Henriot Cuvée, now known as Henriot Brut Souverain. In 1880, Apolline's great grandson, Paul Henriot, married a young woman, Marie Marguet, from the Côte des Blancs. This marriage gave way to a real transition of the Maison Henriot's vineyards, now having access to estate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. Come taste the current offerings from this historic family owned Champagne house, and take a walk through history with us.
Non-refundable 72 hours in advance.
