Grapes for this exceptional Chardonnay were selected from our own estate vineyards and from growing partners in Polk County, North Carolina. It's a treat for all the senses, from its classic straw color and inviting bouquet of butterscotch, vanilla, and toasted coconut, to its delicious flavors of honeysuckle, baked apple, and subtle vanilla. Six to eight months' aging in oak barrels imparts a round, creamy mouthfeel and lingering finish to this medium-bodied wine. As delicious as it is by the glass, it's even better paired with flavorful fare including chicken Marsala, grilled Chilean sea bass, or mushroom strudel-and don't forget the pecan pie with whipped cream! We recommend stocking up for Thanksgiving dinner and keeping a few bottles on hand for celebrations and gift-giving.
