Benevolent Neglect 2021 Rosato

In Napa the saying goes, "When life gives you wildfires, make rosé".  A little bit of a joke, but this Counoise was forced into being picked early and the end result is a strawberry fueled wine with a brightness and a savoriness, which finds itself in uncharted territory.  Too light to be a red wine and too bold to be a rosé.  It's like the Antika Terra Rose at just over $20.  Bright acid, rhubard, strawberry, mushroom, dried roses, beets, and red cherry all come to life on the palate.
