Winemaker Notes

Winemaker Kevin Hall fermented this wine at a slightly cooler temperature than other Bordeaux varietals in a smaller tank increasing extraction, color and rich flavors. The wine is aged in a new medium toast Zenith barrel enhancing elegance and structure of the wine while focusing on the big berry flavors. It is deeply colored with rich, ripe aromas and flavors of black cherry, chocolate and cassis. This is a full bodied wine with nice balance and a long structured finish.
