Dopff & Irion Cuvee Pinot Blanc

A new favorite for us at Taylor's, but this historic chateau has been making wine in Alsace since 1549 and they make a number of well priced wines. Since our recent favorites (Mader and Cattin) are likely to be out of stock for a while we had to seek out a new Pinot Blanc for the shelf, and we absolutely love the new vintage of the Cuvee Rene Pinot Blanc.

This is a bright and juicy white wine that is super clean and an easy going sipper. Floral aromas up front, but when you taste it has hints of crisp nectarine and pineapple to go with a great floral finish. This wine is balanced so that it would hold up well with most foods but is bright and lush enough to drink on its own!
