Since 1969 Arnaldo and Marta Galli (and now their adult children) have overseen every aspect of grapegrowing and winemaking at their small family owned estate. Their Valpolicella Classico is 50% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 20% Corvinone and 10% other authorized grapes, that is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts.The result is a fresh, fruit forward wine that his light and easy to drink during the last hot days of summer when served with a slight chill, or great with a variety of Italian dishes as cellar temperature. Brilliant ruby red in color with a bouquet of intense red fruits notes such as currant, strawberry and black cherry. On the palate the wine is medium in body but with a surprisingly enveloping mature berry flavor with hints of dried figs, coffee notes and cocoa powder. It is silky with sweet/tart fruit ripe fruit flavor dense, ripe and lush mature berries.
