Domaine Bunan 2025 "Mas De La Rouviere" Bandol Rose
Tasting Notes
Domaine Bunan’s 2025 Mas de la Rouvière Rosé from Bandol shows the estate’s signature depth and precision, built primarily on Mourvèdre with supporting amounts of Cinsault and Grenache, a classic Bandol blend that gives the wine both structure and aromatic lift. The nose opens with ripe peach, wild strawberry, blood orange, and crushed rose petals, layered with hints of garrigue, sea spray, and a subtle mineral edge. On the palate it is fuller and more textural than most Provençal rosés, offering a silky yet energetic profile of stone fruit, red currant, citrus zest, and a faint savory note that reflects the Mourvèdre backbone. Its long, saline finish makes it especially food‑friendly, pairing beautifully with bouillabaisse, grilled sea bass, tuna niçoise, herb‑roasted chicken, Provençal vegetables, saffron dishes, Mediterranean mezze, and even lightly spiced Asian preparations where its structure and freshness shine.
