Barnett Vineyards 2018 MMV Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker Notes

2018 is the third year of MMV. This dark purple wine is a blockbuster, with massive blackberry fruit, bright cocoa nib, and fresh ground pepper jumping out of the glass. There are also elements of black coffee and wet volcanic earth on the nose. The palate is very rich, more blackberry but as a compote, with cedar and caramel. The tannins are mouth coating without being biting and the acidity is nicely in balance with the entire wine.
